Read this before you sell your liver for Fall fashions

For those of you who know me, know that i enjoy my fair share of overpriced, in season, crap. However, in light of this recent economy which apparently has inverse to normal effects to my spending i find myself nothing short of broke.

Any savvy fashion connoisseur knows that paying full price for any garment, even if it's a Dolce and Gabbana, was soooo 2008. Since we are all 2000 and broke we need to come up with new ways to look fab.

This season it's all about the everyday dresses with boots, the off the shoulder tops, the skinny jeans, ankle boots, bright colors, leather jackets, vests, and if you live in Seattle like i do, sweaters of all kinds will never ever go out of style. Two weeks ago i went on a quest to find a places cheap yet savvy that could accommodate all this goodness. Here are my findings.

Old Navy ( not just for tweens anymore)
Here we have a basic off the shoulder cotton top which is form fitting in all the right areas. This top is a low low price of $7.99!

A little black dress in a casual sense. This dress comes in several colors, throw on some boots + a belt and you've got yourself a work/going out outfit for 15 bucks!

A pricier alternative for Old Navy. This sweater dress is a warm Seattle wear and comes in three colors. Can be worn with flats, ankle booties, and tall boots. Put on your detective gloves and fish out $35 worth of change from that ol' coach!

Frankly i am sick of the same ol' dusty three button pea coat. Here we have a trendier alternative which came from the runway to Guess and finally to Old Navy. This piece is flattering, comes in black and beige, and never goes out of style. I have a hard time spending 70 bucks at Old Navy but this little guy is worth it.

Forever 21
Suede ankle booties. 25 bucks. Move quick or they'll be gone. Story of Forever 21. Wear with skirts/dresses. Not jeans.

Leather ankle booties. Wear these with skinny jeans to make even the stumpiest legs look sleek. 30 bucks.

Jeans are very close to my heart so this portion of my quest was challenging. I believe every girl should have at least one amazing, designer, feel good on a fat hair day kind of jeans. Other then that it's anyone's jean. These Jeans are fair quality, fit well, and are only TEN BUCKS! Please refrain from pairing them with dominatrices shoes like this confused Forever 21 model.

High waist casual skirt. This skirt should be every girls best friend. it highlights a waist and hides an apple bottom. I would suggest wearing a tight top but anything goes. Pair with pumps or boots. 18 bucks.

If you ever want to look smart grab a vest, put your hair in a pony tail, grab a pair of glass lens glasses, and incorporate your last five words of the day into all your conversations. Vests; helping dumb people look smart since 1917. 25 bucks.

Other noteworthy stack droppers:

Loehmann's: Loehmann's was my first job. Since i was 16 years young i got to see all the middle ages overweight women try on last years fashions. All jokes aside Loehmann's is an amazing find with brands such as free people, D&G, Guess, Rock and Republic, True Religion, and other nordstrom-like finds. Come visit Bellevue!

Nordstrom Rack: Enough said.

Target: The occasional cute find with a side of drug store lipgloss-Mascara combo.

In other news, i just got back from San Fran with my hot silverfox bf. We had a blast walking around, going to weddings, and he introduced me to the delicious world known as In-n-out. I am impressed.

Last but not least; feast your eyes on this beauty

Take a lesson from this BA's sweater. To die for. Props to Kelsey for sending it to me!

I have a lot of fashion icons but Cayla Papke surpasses them all.
